MORE INFO
"It has been wonderful to have a place to play, to try out new ideas!" exclaims Bev, who co-creates Camp Waterlogg with his wife Lorie Kellogg, who portrays the other half of the voices. The segments are heard each week as part of one of Bev's other shows, The Comedy-O-Rama Hour. More then 60 hours of The Camp Waterlogg Chronicles audio books are available from Blackstone Audio and Waterlogg Productions.

"Joe an Lorie are both extremely talented voice artists. They can both do lots of entertaining voices, not just characterizations but whole personalities, and they both have a fine flair for drama, satire, and comedy. Put them together and, well, need I say more? If you haven’t heard these two at work, you’re missing out on something special," wrote Stephen Brandt in an Audiobook Heaven review.

In this episode, Ellis and Adam try to cook lunch to win back their gals, Elise and Aleta Mae (Lorie Kellogg) from Cary and Gary. Sgt. Lefty's mom is a pool shark dressed as tree.

and

Permafrost MN, an audio serial by Jerry Stearns and Brian Price about the life of the people who live and work in the town. Together they tell you one important event in the history of the town, and each episode tells a little part of this tale with a short story of its own.

A VERY Minnesota program, with likable characters, humorous situations and events. Richly produced with original music and sound effects. Written, produced and performed by Minnesotans.

"'Permafrost' achieves that rarest of comedies, whimsey. Think of 'Lake Woebegone' scripted by Lewis Carroll. It is also the home of the gentlest collection of eccentrics this side of 'Northern Exposure'."
Tom Fuller, Atlanta Radio Theater Company

Joe Bevilacqua, also known as Joe Bev, is primarily known as a radio theater dramatist, but his career has taken him into every aspect of show business, including stage, film, and television, as a producer, director, writer, actor, and even cartoonist. In 1971 his father bought him a cassette recorder, on which he created his first audio story, Willoughby and the Professor, acting all the voices himself at the age of twelve. In 1975 Daws Butler, the voice of Yogi Bear and many other Hanna-Barbera and Jay Ward cartoon characters, dubbed himself Bevilacqua’s personal mentor after hearing a 120-minute cassette of Willoughby improvisations. Since 1980 Bevilacqua has produced many award-winning radio programs for National Public Radio, Sirius-XM Satellite Radio, and others.
