take listeners on a one hour radio theater ride as
Joe Bev Travels (Further) Through Time & Space

The Great Northern Audio
 Theatre Collection
COMING SOON!
About this week's show, it was posted on Facebook by Brian K. Price of Great Northern Audio (http://www.great
northernaudio.com/
)

"Joe Bev will be playing Great Northern's 'Peter Galaxy: Interstellar Envoy'. One of the cool things about this spoof on old time radio adventure serials is that we were able to pair David Ossman of the Firesign Theatre with Michael Sheard, probably best known for playing the "you have failed me for the last time" Admiral Ozzel in Star Wars as well as working in a ton of Doctor Whos. Originally trained in Shakespeare, Michael said he hadn't performed on stage in 20 years and had a wonderful time. You can hear it in his voice. Also, starring Tick Wick, Windy Bowlsby, Irene Ruderman Clark, and Preston Ossman."

The Joe Bev Experience is an anthology series representing the depth and breath of Joe Bevilacqua's 40-plus year career in audio storytelling, from documentary to radio drama, and new and classic installments of "Joe Bev's" Cartoon Carnival.

Joe Bevilacqua, also known as Joe Bev, is primarily known as a radio theater dramatist, but his career has taken him into every aspect of show business, including stage, film, and television, as a producer, director, writer, actor, and even cartoonist. In 1971 his father bought him a cassette recorder, on which he created his first audio story, Willoughby and the Professor, acting all the voices himself at the age of twelve. In 1975 Daws Butler, the voice of Yogi Bear and many other Hanna-Barbera and Jay Ward cartoon characters, dubbed himself Bevilacqua’s personal mentor after hearing a 120-minute cassette of Willoughby improvisations. Since 1980 Bevilacqua has produced many award-winning radio programs for National Public Radio, Sirius-XM Satellite Radio, and others.
