on CRAGG

"The Love Goddess" performs wedding ceremony and plays accordion on part 3 of Joe Bev's online improvisational radio theater hour, on Cult Radio-A-Go-Go!

Comedian Judy Tenuta improvises with Joe Bevilacqua (Joe Bev) and Lorie Kellogg on this week's edition of The Comedy-O-Rama Hour, on Saturday, June 16, from 1 pm to 2 pm (ET) / 10 am to 11 am (PT) on http://www.cultradioagogo.com.

In the episode of the online improvisational radio theater hour, Tenuta gives relationship advice to characters Ellis and Elise (voiced by Bev and Kellogg) and plays accordion and sings at their Pastafarian Pirate wedding and then marries them under her own religion Judyism.

The Comedy-O-Rama Hour is the highest rated show on Cult Radio-A-Go-Go! Joe Bev attributes the positive response to his radio show as a sign today's audiences are craving radio theater.

"We are creating a fully realized storyline every week, with continuing characters, sound effects, music, full production values... plus we're funny!" says Bev, who performs nearly half the characters on the show, including Ellis the Boatkeeper, Sgt. Lefty, Adam Maxwell, Lil Orphan Andy, and others.

His wife and creative partner Lorie Kellogg also performs many characters on the show, including Elise, Olive Pitts, Mrs. Cowlick, Ellis & Elise's mother, Lkie, Mrs. Terwilliger and others.

The husband and wife team record the comedy hour from their home and surrounding woods of Napanoch, NY. The show takes place at Camp Waterlogg, a fictional kids camp in the Catskills. Their two dogs, two cats and 25 chickens often make it into the audio of the show.

For the wedding trilogy, Bev and Kellogg enlisted the help of Kenny Savoy and James Folly, members of the Liquid Comedy troupe since 1979. Savoy plays Cousin Kenny, Peter Moss, Dufus and others. Folly is heard as Ron Drydale, Lil Jimmy, Reverend Cowlick and more.
"The Aphrodite of the Accordion," as she calls herself, is comic Judy Tenuta. She was raised in Oak Park, Ill. and graduated from the University of Illinois with a degree in theater. Best known for her brash, offbeat humor, she was the first stand-up to win Best Female Comedian at the American Comedy Awards and has released three CDs, two of which were nominated for a Grammy. Tenuta also has released books including The Power of Judyism and Full Frontal Tenudity. She has appeared in her own comedy specials on HBO, Showtime and Lifetime. More about Tenuta and her comedy can be found on her website, www.judytenuta.com.

Bev is starting another show The Jazz-O-Rama Hour coming June 23, 2 pm (ET) / 11 am (PT) on CRAGG (Cult Radio-A-Go-Go!) Each week, he will follow his Comedy-O-Rama Hour with an hour of vintage Jazz from 78RPM records from his personal collection.

Online radio station garnering over 100,000 listeners per week worldwide.

The Comedy-O-Rama Hour airs EVERY SATURDAY 1:00pm (EST) / 10:00am (PST)
Listen LIVE anywhere at cultradioagogo.com

Terry & Tiffany DuFoe, the creators and owners of Cult Radio A-Go-Go! announced today on Twitter: "@cult_radio Congratulating @joebev3d 4 having the highest rated CRSB radio show on last Saturdays schedule June 2nd Camp Waterlogg pic.twitter.com/84EyBGk8."

The Comedy-O-Rama Hour, the improvisational comedy radio theater, began its 5th season in February, to its highest audience numbers ever. In the past 17 weeks, the show has helped Cult Radio-A-Go-Go! garner over 100,000 listeners per week worldwide.

Joe Bev's
Comedy-O-Rama Hour
Highest Rated Show
on Cult-Radio-A-Go-Go!

Comedy-O-Rama--the brainchild of real-life husband and wife Joe Bevilacqua (Joe Bev.) and Lorie Kellogg--was cancelled after a successful four year run on XM Radio, a casualty of the Sirius XM merger. The new shows air every Saturday at 1:00pm (EST) / 10:00am (PST). Listeners can hear The Comedy-O-Rama Hour LIVE online from anywhere at http://www.cultradioagogo.com

THANKS SO MUCH!
"We are back in full force," boasts Bevilacqua. "Clearly, audiences are moving away from the rigid formulas of traditional TV and radio. The future of entertainment is on the Internet, where anything is possible!"

Joe Bev. credits this shift as the reason The Comedy-O-Rama Hour is attracting celebrity guest stars to ad-lib as characters in the "Camp Waterlogg-A-Go-Go!" stories. 2012 guests have included Rick Overton, Stuart Pankin, Julie Newmar, Bob Greenberg, Nancy Cartwright, Phil Proctor, and June Foray.

"The Love Goddess" Judy Tenuta will guest star on The Comedy-O-Rama Hour on Saturday, June 16, as part of the third hour of a trilogy Wedding story.

Bevilacqua and Kellogg portray 80% of the character's voices on the show, which is 50% improvisational and recorded on location at their home and surrounding woods in the Catskills of New York State. Other characters are played by James Folly, Kenny Savoy, and Tom Giannazzo.

The Comedy-O-Rama Hour is a Waterlogg Production. For more great Waterlogg audio, via Amazon, iTunes, Audible, Kindle, Blackberry, Android, iPhone, and iPad, go to http://www.waterlogg.com.

SATURDAYS

The Comedy-O-Rama Hour is the brainchild of husband and wife Joe Bevilacqua (Joe Bev) and Lorie Kellogg. After a successful four year run on Sirius XM Radio, the improvisational comedy radio theater hour moved to Cult Radio-A-Go-Go! online where its audience numbers have increased 10 fold in 10 weeks. Now in its 15th week, the comedy hour has helped Cult Radio-A-Go-Go! attracted more than 100,000 listeners per week worldwide.

Joe Bevilacqua, who is also known as Joe Bev, performs nearly half the characters on the show, including Ellis the Boatkeeper, Sgt. Lefty, Adam Maxwell, Lil Orphan Andy, and others. His wife and creative partner Lorie B. Kellogg also performs many characters on the show, including Elise, Olive Pitts, Mrs. Cowlick, Ellis & Elise's mother, Lkie, and others.
Joe Bevilacqua creates the voices
of Ranger Joe,
Sgt. Lefty, Ellis the Boat Keeper,
Andy the Little Orphan Boy,
all the voices in the
"Uncle Dunkle and Donnie" cartoons,
and the other voices in the Perdro cartoons

The husband and wife team record the comedy hour from their home and surrounding woods of Napanoch, NY. The show takes place at Camp Waterlogg, a fictional kids camp in the Catskills.

For the trilogy, Bev and Kellogg enlisted the help of Kenny Savoy and Jim Folly, members of the Liquid Comedy troupe since 1979.

The four spent last weekend improvising over hours of new material for The Comedy-O-Rama Hour.
Lorie Kellogg creates the voices of Ranger Lorie,
Olive Pitts, Lkie (Sqweeky), the gal at the
Too Big or Too Small Store,
and oodles of voices in the Perdro cartoons.

Folly plays chef Ron Drysdale, a Peters Market Grocery Clerk, Rev. Cowlick, Marcello, Ellis & Elise's father and Lil Jimmy. Savoy is Cousin Kenny, Peter Moss, and Luigi.

Bev and Kellogg Skyped two scenes with Judy Tentua, one in which she gives love advise to Ellis and Elise, and the other in which Tentua sings and plays accordion at their wedding.

Joe Bev says of his cast:
"Lorie Kellogg is not only a great voice artist who can play woman, man, girls, boys, frogs, trees, chairs, or anything... she also comes up with half the funny plots we improvise!"
"Jim Folly is the funniest man alive! Jim has been a member of our troupe Liquid Comedy since we formed it in 1979. Jim is Don Rickles, Chico Marx and Allen Jenkins all rolled into one!"
"Kenny Savoy can do voices and read a script as well as any actor I know, but what makes Kenny special is is bright open upbeat personality. He lifts the energy of everyone he meets. Kenny is also a great improviser."

"We are so honored to have Judy Tentua as a guest on The Comedy-O-Rama Hour. What can I say about the Love Goddess she hasn't already said about herself:

Judy Tenuta is the most famous person who has ever lived...and if you don't believe it, just ask her. Judy is a triple threat in the sense that she has strong stage, television, comedy and film credits with a large fan base.  She has appeared in" The Vagina Monologues",  "Menopause the Musical" both in LA and Chicago, and she's had her own stand-up specials on Showtime, HBO and Lifetime.  Judy was the first female stand-up comic to win "Best Female Comedian" at the American Comedy Awards and is a two-time Grammy nominee for her comedy CD’S,  "Attention Butt-Pirates” and “Lesbetarians!" and "In Goddess We Trust".  That same year, she became the national spokesperson for a series of Diet Dr. Pepper commercials. The self-described "Love Goddess" and "Aphrodite of the Accordion" has made hundreds of guest and co-hosting appearances on such popular TV shows as "The View",  "Late Night with David Letterman", "Larry King Live", "Entertainment Tonight", and "Comics Unleashed".
Judy's stand-up routine is appropriately described as outrageous, mind-blowing comedy. She recently became an ordained minister, and converts her audiences to her signature religion, "Judyism".  A strong advocate for gays, children and women's issues, the fun-loving feminist preaches that all women should be worshiped as "Love Goddesses!"
This week's Comedy-O-Rama Hour also includes the story "Madman in the City" written by Pedro Pablo Sacristan and voiced by Joe Bev as Peter Falk (Lt. Columbo) and Andy Kaufman (Latka Gravis), and Lorie Kellogg in the Eve Arden role and Joe Bev in the Gale Gordon role in the conclusion of the first new "Our Miss Brooks" story since 1959.
