RIP JOE FRANKLIN!
March 9, 1926 – January 24, 2015
WE REMEMBERED... Gary and I did Who's on Who's On First? Abbott & Costello on Joe Franklin. Here is audio from that appearance, recording off my portable black and TV I brought to high school and watched for my 8 am dram class! I had gotten my braces off the day before I was on the show. I was 17.
At the end of the audio, I tacked on the first time Bob Greenberg and I ever did Joe & Bob as Bud & Lou together. This was completely ad-libbed.
36 YEARS LATER... Joe Bevilacqua just started doing Abbott & Costello again in 2012 with Bob Greenberg!
Bob & Joe are ready and willing to become Abbott & Costello anywhere, anytime, for anyone! PLEASE VISIT: http://waterlogg.com/abbott-costello.html
