Public Radio's Joe Bevilacqua Portrays "Monty" in History Channel's The World Wars

Extended Version of TV Mini-Series airing on H2 and in more than 160 countries on June 22, 2014.

Joe Bevilacqua will portray British Field Marshal Bernard Montgomery in History Channel's extended version of the TV mini-series The World Wars.

SEPARATED AT BIRTH?
Joe Bevilacqua portrays "Monty"
for History Channel's The World Wars, June 22
The World Wars is a three-part, six hour event miniseries by the History Channel that premiered Memorial Day. The extended version of the series with never before seen footage will be broadcast on H2 and in more than 160 countries on June 22, 2014.

The veteran Award-winning public radio producer's career has taken him into every aspect of show business, including stage, film and television, as a producer, director, writer, author, actor, and even cartoonist.

Bevilacqua landed the role due to his striking resemblance to the World Ward II hero and because he can do a spot on British dialect. A portion of the filming took place in and around Martinsburg, West Virginia in October and November 2013. The series was introduced by President Barack Obama.

As of June 2014, Joe Bevilacqua produces 14 regularly airing radio series, and 34 hours of new radio per month, running on station around the world, including WGTD, Wisconsin Public Radio, BearMnaor Radio, Sound Stages Radio, WHRO-Norfolk, VA, The 1920s Radio Network, Toon Radio, Pawling Public Radio, Radio New Zealand, and others.

All 14 series are podcasts, via iTunes, Tunein.com, joebev.com, and others, as well as via a free SmartPhone app. More at http://www.waterlogg.com.

Camp Waterlogg: Peter Bergman and the End of the World - With special guest star Philip Proctor

Philip Proctor says, ''Peter Bergman and the End of the World is a piece I was inspired to write after losing my dear friend, collaborator and Firesign partner to leukemia in March 2012. I chose to premiere the story on Comedy-O-Rama because of my admiration for Joe and Lorie's comic

consistency over the years and because I know that their audience is the perfect place to perpetuate the memory of Peter's genius and stimulate an online interest in his legacy through Radio Free Oz, The Firesign Theatre and Proctor & Bergman. I know Peter would've loved it…
Thanks, J & L ~
Philip!''
