The Comedy-O-Rama Hour is the brainchild of husband and wife Joe Bevilacqua (Joe Bev) and Lorie Kellogg. After a successful four year run on Sirius XM Radio, the improvisational comedy radio theater hour moved to Cult Radio-A-Go-Go! online where its audience numbers have increased 10 fold in 10 weeks.
On the Saturday May 5 show, Pankin has bought the movie rights to Sgt. Lefty's life. Lefty, played by Joe Bev, lost his right arm in Viet Nam. Meanwhile, Ellis the Boatkeeper (also Joe Bev) wants to be a model for Mrs. Neato (Lorie Kellogg).
The hour also features Bill Marx talking about his father Harpo Marx, from the audiobook Son of Harpo Speaks (available from Waterlogg Productions at Audible, Amazon and iTunes).
In addition, Bev voices two Uncle Dunkle cartoons written by Daws Butler, the late voice actor and mentor.
The May 3rd Comedy-O-Rama will include rare recordings of Butler as Yogi Bear, re-imagined into a dream sequence.
