The Comedy-O-Rama Hour
"Fireworks at Camp Waterlogg Revisited"
It's still raining cats and dogs (and children) this Fourth of July and the Camp Waterlogg gang are trapped indoors recalling a holiday of the past. Along the way, there is also a Daws Butler Uncle Dunkle cartoon about George Washington. The husband and wife team of Joe Bevilacqua and Lorie Kellogg create a brand new hour of radio comedy every week, providing most of the character's voices, writing and improvising the story-lines and adding music and sound effects. This week's show also features Liquid Comedy's Cousin Kenny Savoy.

The Joe Bev Experience
1) "Tobin's Palm" by O. Henry, narrated by Joe Bevilacqua. William Sydney Porter, known by his pen name, O. Henry, was an American writer. O. Henry's short stories are known for their wit, wordplay, warm characterization and clever twist endings. 2) "A Freneau Sampler: The Prose and Poetry of American Revolutionary War Writer Philip Freneau," produced and directed by Joe Bevilacqua
Philip Morin Freneau (January 2, 1752 – December 18, 1832) was a notable American poet, nationalist, polemicist, sea captain, and newspaper editor, sometimes called the "Poet of the American Revolution". This half-hour historical drama was adapted into play form by Joe Bevilacqua, in association with W. John Bauer, English Professor, Kean University. It was first toured on stage with grants from the Monmouth County Historical Society and the New Jersey Historical Commission. The play details Freneau's fascinating life alongside the leaders of the Revolution, from George Washington to Ben Franklin, and features a fine cast including Joe Bevilacqua as Philip Freneau, with William Melillo, Alison Nead, Rick Ramos, Leslie Spital, and Cathi Tully.

Joe Bevilacqua is a veteran, award-winning broadcaster. He begin his professional radio career in 1988 at WBGO, Jazz88 in Newark, NJ. He worked at WNYC, New York Public Radio until 1995, when he became among the founding employees of internet startups VeriTest, CitySearch, GeoCities and Yahoo! In 2000, combining knowledge and experience gained from working in radio and the Internet, Bevilacqua founded Waterlogg Productions, with his wife and partner Lorie Kellogg.
