The 13 different holiday specials are airing on public radio, streamed at BearManor Radio.com, and podcasts on demand at Waterlogg.com and other websites.

Joe Bevilacqua (Joe Bev) loves the holidays! So much so, he produced the audio book Pedro’s Christmas Fables, available through Blackstone Audio, with funny voices and full radio theater style sound effects and music.

Steven Brandt from Audiobook Heaven called Pedro’s Christmas Fables "just the thing to occupy your young ones on a rainy (or snowy) afternoon. Better yet, sit down and listen along with them. You won’t regret spending some time with them, and you won’t regret these stories either. It’s fun for the whole family."
BearManor Radio

Now, Joe Bev is releasing 13 holiday radio specials over the next 13 days and calling it "The 13 Days of Christmas".

The latest, "The What's Cookin'? Holiday Show"  is just one of 13 different "Joe Bev" holiday specials, which are airing on public radio, streamed at BearManor Radio, and podcast on demand at: http://www.bearmanormedia.com/radio/bearmanorradio.html and other websites.

The 13 Days of Christmas: Joe Bev Airs Newly Found "The Big Show" with Tallulah Bankhead

The 13 different holiday specials are airing on public radio, streamed at BearManor Radio.com, and podcasts on demand at Waterlogg.com and other websites.

Joe Bevilacqua (Joe Bev) not only produces modern radio theater everyday, making him the most prolific in his field, but he also is a historian of old time radio and the host of The Lost OTR Show, in which Bevilacqua plays rare, thought lost but recently found radio programs, not heard since their original broadcast, including Bulldog Drummond, Cisco Kid, Blondie, A Date with Judy.

On the BearManor Radio Network.

"The Big Show"
Christmas Special

This time Joe Bev airs part one of "The Big Show" with Tallulah Bankhead, from February 24, 1952, and Tallulah Bankhead's"Touch Hands" from the December 24, 1950 first season Christmas broadcast. Part two will be aired next month. Also on the hour, the amazing Fred Frees as Professor Ludwig Von Watchamacallit continues opening "The 12 BearManor Presents of Christmas" early.

Tallulah Bankhead
The Big Show aired for two seasons. For decades, recordings from the entire first season circulated in collector hands. Only four and a half episodes from the second season were known to exist... asking connoisseurs of the variety program to ask, "Where are the second season episodes?" As it turns out, they did exist. Author and old-time radio historian, Martin Grams, Jr., recently finished a book documenting The Big Show and Talulah Bankhead's radio career, due for publication in a few months. Martin was digging through a number of archives and stumbled upon the "lost" episodes. After paying a hefty fee and acquiring permissions from the proper parties, he acquired all of the "lost" episodes. What you are about to hear is one of those lost episodes from February 24, 1952, 1952. Never heard since it's initial broadcast almost 63 years ago, Bear Manor Radio proudly offers a rarity you won't find anywhere else.
