Whale Wars Mocumentary on Joe Bev's "Camp Waterlogg" Radio Theater Hour- Sat July 21, 1 pm (ET) on CRAGG

Ellis & Elise are back from there Pastafarian Honeymoon and the Baluga Battles  on Camp Waterlogg radio comedy airing Saturday, July 21, 1 pm (ET) on CRAGG

The Comedy-O-Rama Hour is followed by The Jazz-O-Rama Hour & The Joe Bev Experience, part of Joe Bev's 3-hour block, airing every Saturday starting 1 pm (ET) / 10 am (PT) at  cultradioagogo.com.

Ellis and Elise return from their seafaring honeymoon during which they were attacked by pirates, shipwrecked on desert island, rescued by the Bahamian Coast Guard, and finally star in their own reality TV show, Beluga Battles.

This mockumentary parody on the TV reality show Whale Wars will be heard on this week's edition of The Comedy-O-Rama Hour, the weekly wacky radio theater show created by Joe Bevilacqua (Joe Bev.) that takes place at Camp Waterlogg, the dilapidated kid's camp in the Catskills.

The Comedy-O-Rama Hour airs at 1 pm (ET) / 10 am (PT) as part of this week's premiere of "The Joe Bev 3-Hour Block," which includes The Jazz-O-Rama Hour and The Joe Bev Experience, at http://www.cultradioagogo.com.

Bev and his wife Lorie Kellogg not only co-write half the show and improvise the other half, the couple perform most of the voices in the show. On this week's Camp Waterlogg segments, Joe Bev is the voice of Sgt. Lefty, Ellis the Boatkeeper, The Professor, Willoughyby, Lil Orphan Andy, "Beluga Battles" ship crew members, cartoon drops of water, other narration and the announcer. Lorie Kellogg voices Olive Pitts, Elise, cartoon drops of water, "Beluga Battles" ship crew members and other narration.

"We improvise part of the show in the woods around my Catskills cabin home," explains Bev, who adds "and even our chickens end up in the final show! I use a portable stereo recorder and get most of my sound effects live on the spot! I even make actors climb trees if the scene calls for it."
The Jazz-O-Rama Hour
air every Saturday
1 pm (ET) / 10 am (PT) at

Bev reveals, "One trick I use is I move back and forth from right to left on the mike for each character I do. If you listen to my work, I am often all the characters in a scene, 2, 3, maybe 20, all panned in a different place in the audio landscape. We are no longer stuck in a studio. We can record anywhere. This is not your grandfather's radio theater!"

This week's Comedy-O-Rama Hour also features cartoons "A Drop of Water" and "Ice in the Jungle" by Pedro Pablo Sacristan, and a visit from Joe Bev's childhood creations Willoughby and the Professor.

Joe Bevilacqua is a veteran radio theater producer and voice actor. He also works on stage and is the winner of the 2012 New York TANYS Award for Excellence in Acting.
