Fred's comments:
On the ringtones: When Ben approached me with the idea of doing my father's voices for ring tones, I just couldn't turn it down. It seems a lot of people still want to hearthose familiar characters enough to carry them around on their mobile devices. We'll probably do more them in the future.
Ben's comments:
Ringtones: I've been a Huge fan of comedy all my life, and was intrigued, browsing around amazon, that there were companies doing whole comedy ringtone albums. Obviously, a ringtone isn't just music! Also, way back, I had the Monty Python's Complete Waste of Time game, which included a trillion sound bytes you could use for computer sounds. Plus answering machine messages. So I thought, why not do an album of funny voices for a plethora of uses. The trouble was, we came up with enough for 3 albums' worth! We'll do a 3rd one soon.

In 2011 Joe Bevilacqua signed a new deal with Audible to
distribute all of his audio books including radio drama, science fiction,
documentary, comedy and biography.

And Joe signed a deal with Sirius/XM Sirius
XM Radio to broadcast his work on the Book radio Ch. 80.
Also, currently Joe Bevilacqua voiced ‘Commander Crumpet’
for the Bob Camp (co-founder of and
director of Ren & Stimpy) designed iPhone game 'Tanks of Fury' being
released Christmas 2011. His wife Lorie Kellogg voiced the character ‘Desert
Fox’.
Joe Bev is excited about all his new projects!
Joe Bev is a mufti-talent animation/comedy/radio/TV/movie history expert who can also do thousands of characters, who is successful bringing radio theater techniques to audiobooks. We just finished 200 Spanish children's stories translated into English. But we did not just read them. We acted them out, improvised scenes to make the narrative story more engaging, and I post-produced with SFX, music and stereo effects that give what I call a 3-D audio feel. We even do many of them as parodies. We did one as the B-52s!
His current (value added) audio book is: “Yabba Dabba Doo!: The Alan Reed Story”(the voice of Fred Flinstone) and is getting great reviews: Alan Reed ‘s biography is a "Clip-filled tribute to a master character actor... Movie clips, too, and it's amazing to hear all the parts Alan played over the years. Joe Bevilacqua, who turns up doing some narration, puts in backing music and various clips which make this a nostalgia trip into the Golden Age of Radio. "
