"Hey, Aaaaaabott!!" The Comedy-O-Rama Hour will present the second of two tributes to the legendary comedy team Abbott & Costello.



It is all part of this week's Camp Waterlogg-A-Go-Go segments, featuring special guest star Bob Greenberg.


The hour will also feature Joe Bev as Jimmy Durante, Laurel & Hardy, and James Finlayson. Lorie Kellogg is heard as Gracie Allen, among other characters.

The improvisational radio theater program is written by husband and wife Joe Bevilacqua (Joe Bev) and Lorie Kellogg and produced and directed by Bevilacqua. The couple voice 80% of the characters on the show each week

During the comedy hour, Ranger Joe goes back in time to 1938 and meets Abbott & Costello--played by Bevilacqua and Greenberg, respectively, in sketches performed and recorded before a live audience.



The hour will also feature Joe Bev as Jimmy Durante, Laurel & Hardy, and James Finlayson.

Next Saturday, April 28, The Comedy-O-Rama Hour will present the world premiere of Firesign Theatre's Philip Proctor and his tribute to fellow Firesign-ian the late Peter Bergman.

On May 5, Stuart Pankin guest stars on the show.

Upcoming Comedy-O-Rama guests include Julie Newmar (Batman), Janet Waldo (The Jetsons"), Chuck McCann (Let's Have Fun!) and Judy Tenuta (The Weird Al Show). Past guests have included Al Franken, Lewis Black, Shelley Berman, Rick Overton, and Bob Camp.

In this New Oldtime Radio Hour, Lou Costello (Bob Greenberg) follows Bud Abbott (Joe Bevilacqua) to the Catskills when Abbott is hired as sole Master of Ceremonies of a  Borscht Belt variety show. Meanwhile, guest stars George Burns and Cab Calloway miss their train forcing Abbott to sing and dance in their place! Guest stars who do show up include Gracie Allen (Lorie Kellogg), Harpo Marx (Kenny Savoy), Ruth Waters (DeLois House), and Sophie Tucker, Last of the Red Hot Mamas (Teri Paris).
