RIP JOE FRANKLIN
March 9, 1926 – January 24, 2015

WE REMEMBERED... Gary and I did Who's on Who's On First? Abbott & Costello on Joe Franklin. Here is audio from that appearance, recording off my portable black and TV I brought to high school and watched for my 8 am dram class! I had gotten my braces off the day before I was on the show. I was 17.

At the end of the audio, I tacked on the first time Bob Greenberg and I ever did Joe & Bob as Bud & Lou together. This was completely ad-libbed.

Gary & Joe performing at the Talent Contest during the Nostalgia Convention at the Statler Hilton in NYC  week before appearing on the Joe Franklin Show.
30 years after I was on the Joe Franklin show, I was walking down the hall of the latest OTR Convention at the Holiday Inn in Newark and Joe walked by me and said, "Who's on First?" - Bihler and Bev - 1976." I asked him how he could remember? and he shrugged and replied, "I remember everything." Whatta mind!
