Two Fibber McGee and Molly episodes:
"Fibber Builds A Doghouse" - 1/2/40
Sponsored by: Johnson's Wax: Throckmorton P. Gildersleeve gets trapped in the dog house that Molly suggest he build with his new tools (to stop him from repairing their real furniture.)
"The House of Wax" - 3/20/07
Written, produced and directed by Joe Bevilacqua (Joe Bev)
It’s 1953 when Throckmorton P. Gildersleeve makes a less than triumphant return to Wistful Vita to introduce Vincent Price at the Wistful Vista Bijou premiere of the 3-D movie The House of Wax. Meanwhile, Fibber tries to save five cents by making his own 3-D glasses. Teeny, Mr. Oldtimer, Wally Wimple, Mrs. Uppington, Harlow Wilcox, and even Fibber’s closet are all there in this brand new “Fibber” tale!

Created and starring husband and wife team of Jim Jordan and Marian Jordan, Fibber McGee and Molly was a radio show that played a major role in determining the full form of what became classic, old-time radio. The series was a pinnacle of American popular culture from its 1935 premiere until its end in 1959. One of the longest-running comedies in the history of classic radio in the United States, Fibber McGee and Molly has stood the test of time in many ways, transcending the actual or alleged limitations of its medium, form and concurrent culture. Join us as we return to 79 Wistful Vista in a Midwestern city where the popular shows took place where we can once again laugh at the adventures of Fibber McGee and Molly."
