AUDIOBOOK REVIEW:Pedro Pablo Sacristan is back with yet another collection of Spanish stories for children, translated into English. And just in time for the holidays, this collection includes 12 whimsical stories with a Christmas theme. This is my third Sacristan anthology and I have to say that I have enjoyed them all very much. Sacristan's stories are written in a simple style that children will love. And parents will love the important life lessons their children will gain from these tales.

Let me walk you through a few of my favorites from this collection:
In The Best Choice, a little boy learns that presents are fun, but sometimes they can distract us from the really important things in life.
In The Little Christmas Star, the angels must choose one special star to illuminate a very special event that is taking place on Earth. The brightest and most beautiful star in Heaven thinks the job is too small, so the angels must turn to someone else.
In The Tidy Toys, a little boy likes to play with all his toys and not put them away when he's done, until his toys finally take it upon themselves to teach him an important lesson.
In Problems on the Ark, the large boat suddenly develops a leak! None of the animals are able to stop the leak on their own; it looks like everyone will have to work together.
And that's just for starters. In all, there are twelve charming stories, each with an important lesson for young and old alike.
